Official Terms of Service

Thank you for using FunNest! By registering an account, submitting an entry, or participating in voting, you and your family agree to follow these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our services, you confirm that you are a parent or legal guardian of at least 18 years of age, and you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use or register on the platform.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

FunNest hosts contests for children (typically aged 2 to 16). Because children cannot legally contract, all accounts must be set up, operated, and maintained by a **parent or legal guardian**.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and are fully liable for all activities under your account, including registrations, uploads, and submissions made on behalf of your children.

3. Submission Guidelines

All contest submissions (artworks, photos, essays) must comply with the following criteria:

  • Original Work: The entry must be the original, authentic work of the registered child. Plagiarism, AI generation (unless specifically allowed in a prompt), or parental "helping" that takes away child authorship will result in disqualification.
  • Appropriate Content: Uploaded media must be family-safe. Absolutely no violence, racy content, nudity, or offensive symbols are allowed. Automated checks (Google Vision) and manual moderators inspect all files.
  • Privacy Safeguard: Avoid uploading photos showing children's faces clearly or carrying personal text (phone numbers, full names, addresses).

4. Fair Play & Voting Rules

FunNest was created to foster joy and encouragement. We have a **zero-tolerance policy** for voting manipulation:

Strict Prohibitions: You may not use automated bots, autoclickers, VPN farming networks, click-buy services, or script manipulation to artificially inflate vote counts. We use device fingerprinting and system metrics to scan votes. Any entries with suspicious patterns will be disqualified immediately without notice.

5. Winners & Prizes

Winners are declared by the platform admins based on a combination of community votes (leaderboards) and expert judge evaluations:

  • Admins reserve the right to audit and adjust leaderboards for fair play before declaring official winners.
  • Prizes (certificates, medals, gift cards) will be coordinated with the parent via their registered email address.
  • Any entry fees (if applicable) are non-refundable once the submission period has closed.

6. Intellectual Property & Licensing

Your child owns their creations. FunNest does **not** claim ownership over the artworks or files you upload.

However, by uploading a submission, you grant FunNest a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, crop, host, and showcase the submission on our public voting galleries, leaderboards, Hall of Fame, and marketing campaigns to promote future contests.
